CBLOS - Cross Border Linux Open Source is the annual flagship event of Center for Software Innovation in Søderborg, Denmark and Wirtschafts förderungs- und Regionalentwicklungsgesellschaft Flensburg/Schleswig mbH in Germany. The event is organized for the second time and supported by the European Commission and  the Structural Funds Interreg 4A.

The 2010 edition of the annual Women and Technology event in Milano the 9th of November 09:30 - 18:00 in the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum for Science and Technoloy. The event will have a focus on Research and Innovation in Health, Neurosciences, Bio- and Nanotechnology, Medicine and Emerging Technologies and Aerospace.

    Under the Spanish EU Presidency four major high-level events have been organized focussing on enhancing women's equal participation in the knowledge based economy: 24 February  AETIC - The Spanish Electronics, InformationTechnology and Telecommunications Industries  organized the key event of the e-skills Week in Spain and launched  Conchitas Dream The 29-30 April DEO - The Women, Enterprise and Economics Observatory of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce organized

Now for the 3rd time ECWT at the key EU event in ICT will focus on women on board in ICT, technology and innovation       

      Gender-IT is a two-year initiative co-funded by the European Union’s Lifelong Learning Programme, under the Leonardo da Vinci Action. It is implemented by seven partners from: •Intercollage, Cyprus, Lead Parner•University of Tartu, Unit of Gender Studies, Estonia•ITEC and Militos, Greece •Scienter España, Spain•EMMERCE EEIG, Sweden•Inova Consultancy, UK Gender-IT's specific objective is to build a European network of research, education and business partners for actively fostering gender mainstreaming in VET for the ICT sector.
